Hi MPC Community,

I got an issue with my MPC Live. When I record midi notes in the sequencer using an external keyboard, the note length is not recorded properly. Instead of the indented length, the notes are longer and they are clustered in to one long chord which sometimes goes on for the entire sequence. Interestingly, when I play the piano live, it does not happen. I am running MPC FW and SW 2.9. I've recorded a video with more details.

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas what may cause this? Any settings I should check? :hmmm:

Sounds like activated legato settings (T.C.). See p.88 of the manual.

It could also be a "Midi loop" between your synth and the mpc (synth sending note to mpc, that send it back to the synth, when on record it can lead to "infinity" aggregating notes. If it's this : check MPC's monitoring options of your track or desactivate local control of your synth
