Final Mix

What up everyone! I'm looking for advise or tips on how to get my final mixes right. I usually export multiple beats but some beats are louder than others even though I think my levels are pretty similar it seems. It also seems the volume on the exported songs seems pretty low. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

BTW I have an mpc live. Sorry I forgot to specify on my post.

Sounds like your channels and/or master output volume is at default levels, which tend to be low (-9dB).

I don't have the gear you have, but if you have a completed file, you can drop it into Audacity (it's free) on your computer, run the Normalize function to max out the volume below clipping, and then export from there.

But typically you just need to adjust each channel's level accordingly (boost those beats, add a clipping/low pass filter) and/or automate (I'm thinking in the MPC 2 software) the volume for dynamics.
