I have a Live 1. I'm interested in the possibilities of using a larger grid controller with it. I have a Push 2 and it would be great to use that, and it works in a basic way (note on/off sent from the pads, and I believe cc's from the encoders) but I don't think you can edit the note numbers it sends out unfortunately, as you can with the Launchpad.
Is there any way to filter /remap incoming midi notes within the MPC? Would be great to build a custom map to set the Push to control pad banks A-D, and/or build a 'mirror image' finger drumming map, rather than running chromatically from C2 as they do on the Push.
I'm m thinking this is not possible, but just want to check. Would be a great feature to have added.
(It would also be good to be able to set different MPC pads to output the same note, which I don't think you can do at the moment. I much prefer a mirror-image map for drums.)
