MPC won't scan Kontakt

I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get MPC to accept Kontakt.
Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

MPC Software often completely ignores a newly added plugin, I recently added Steinberg Backbone, nothing I could do could get the AU to show up (VST3 not supported). A few days later I added some other plugins and I noticed Backbone was suddenly there in the plugin list.

Is it scanning Kontakt (but with 'failed' or 'ignore' message) or is is not even appearing on the list during scanning?
