Problems with phono input in mpc x

I have my turntable (Thorhauge the mixer )
Hooked up to input 3-4 (phono)
My iPhone is Also hooked up to input 3-4 (Line)
The iPhone sounds perfekt when i sample from it, but when i switch to phono - the speakers Almost explodes. It’s almost impossible to turn Down the input enough. I have to turn the faders all the Way Down. And the sample i make sounds bad and muffled. - anyone has an idea?

is your mixer outputting line level or phono level?

Line level is louder than phono

If "Thorhauge" is supposed to mean "through the mixer", then you're sending line level into the phono inputs on the MPC X. Don't do that.
