assign one midi controller knob to several parameters

hi,
quick question.
I want to get a Midi Controller with additional knobs for the MPC Live.
I did not have a midi controller before so I cannot try it myself yet, but can I assign a midi controller knob to several functions in the MPC?
Sorry if thats a stupid question^^

in the manual it’s only explained how to midi learn and then assign the wanted parameter with that learned midi knob. It is unclear in the manual if that process can be repeated to learn another parameter for the same knob, unfortunately..
