Saving a Back Up Copy\Project

What is the best way to save a back up copy of your important projects that you cannot afford to lose?

If you are working in controller mode and you save your project to your desk top; will a copy automatically save to the SD card inserted in the MPC ?

Always make backup copies, is all. How you do so depends on your workflow. In your case, follow below... (though I would still make sure you are backing up your computer to another source, whether that be cloud based like BlackBlaze or removable backup storage).

No. Assuming you are on an MPC Live/Live2/X, then any attached USB (drive/sticks), SD Cards, or installed SATA drives are treated as attached storage. If you save your project to your desktop, then simply copy that project data onto one of those. Pro tip: be sure to software "eject" your MPC via your computer's OS before switching out of Controller Mode, or you WILL eventually corrupt your data.
