Can't apply FX to the whole keygroup program [MPC ONE 2.9.0]

Hey,
I have a keygroup program with 12 keygroups in it and I want to apply an effect to the whole keygroup program. It seems reasonable that it should be possible by going to Program Edit -> Effects, changing the KEYGROUP option to be "All" and then add the effects. This, however doesn't seem to do anything.
I can apply the filter/envelope to the entire program but not the effects. Adding effects to an individual keygroup works though. But I do not want to go through every 12 keygroup and apply all the same effect to each one of them.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

@Zwedgy... you want to put the FX for the whole key group while you are in your Main view... touch the Eye icon... and drop in the insert FX there... that's how you add them to the entire Program whether it is a drum kit, key group, etc...

Nah... I made that mistake a lot more times than I care to admit when I first got my MPC Live

You cannot (& should not) put FX on all keygroups via 'ALL' because Akai it would increase CPU massively and is very inefficient. The same thing happens if you try to use 'ALL' to activate warping on all pads or keygroups, it's just ignored otherwise ti would likely crash your MPC. There is nothing stopping you adding it to all keygroups individually, but Akai definitely don't want to encourage it, especially when you can add a single insert FX via the channel mixer to achieve the same thing.

You can also add insert fx to the program from the channel mix view, I find that to be the quickest way vs doing it from the eye icon in the main view. The result is the same though, insert fx applied to the program level.
