Hey guys,

Sorry for this very basic question, but I fail to find an answer.

When you record Midi note by playing a keyboard, their length is never the same.

How do you tell the MPC to give all (!) notes the same length AFTER having played and recorded them?

Turn off TC.
Highlight all notes.
Bottom of screen choose END.
Rotate jog wheel to change ends of all highlighted notes.
There is no single change all ends function.

I do this same thing when playing in midi from my kybd to MPC X
I go to grid view and change/fine tune things.

i don't think the method you describe leads to the wanted result
when applied like you say, you change the end / length of all notes but relative to original playing
if you want the notes to be exact 1 beat long (e.g.), you need to dial end to NULL on all notes and then all notes can be changed equally back to desired length
why they didn't implement a CTRL+A / select ALL in the list edit and then change / SET a desired parameter to a VALUE beats me

I have an MPC Live 2 and I just figured this out today. What you do is you go to the GRID screen. Then you can either hold the ”Shift” button and on the bottom of the screen tap TC or you can press the TC button on the machine. The timing correct window will open and from there you change the TYPE setting to “Length” option and right next to it change the EVENTS setting to “All” option. Then just choose a the TIME DIVISION (size) and press “DO IT” to apply it.
