MPC Live II as backtrack-player and "klick-server"

Perhabs this is shooting sparrows with cannons, but I want to know this:
I want to
a) loading stereo-audiotracks (backtracks) and select, start and stop playing them via midi pc or cc
b) loading a drum-midi-track for using as metronome with the selected audiotrack (see before)
c) send the stereo-audiotrack to L(1)-R(2)-Out and the Drum separate to f.e. Out 3 (for iem)
d) receiving midi-timecode from another device
e) building a song-pool with at least 50 songs, where I can choose a song (stereo-audiotrack with drum-midi-track) via midi pc (see first "wish")

Is all of this possible with the MPC Live II or one of the other MPC-devices?

The problem I see with this is that audio tracks have a limit of 8 tracks per Project, so if you need 1 full stereo audio track per song, you'll be limited to loading 8 songs per Project (so if your set has 9 songs or more, you'll have to load them via a separate Project which takes time to load). Everything else should be addressable, though (other users can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong).

The size (read: length) of the audio tracks may be an issue as well. In standalone, the MPC's are limited to 5 minute audio track recording for each of the 8 audio tracks. You can load longer tracks via storage, but how much you can get will vary wildly depending on the other things eating up your RAM.

You'll run out RAM before you can load that many songs, depending on how long they are. You get 8 Audio tracks per sequence with a max time of 5 min per audio track. Basically you can load about 50 Minutes of audio per project.

I don't think the MPC Live was meant for backing tracks, unless you put tracks in a program and slice them loop them to reduce RAM usage, or rely on different projects for each song, since a single project can have up to 50 minutes of audio. Lots of people use the LP-16, much easier than a laptop and audio interface.
