Expansions MPC ONE

So I downloaded the F9 free expansion and got that on my MPC ONE with no problem.

Then I went and bought xvxo expansion and it downloaded as an xpn file....

What am I missing here?

you need to install the .xpn file into software on your computer, and then export the files from either MPC Beats or MPC Software to a drive (SD or USB for the MPC One).

So why did the F9 come already in a zip file ready to go and this was in an xpn file.
Did I buy the wrong expansion kit online?

Is there a difference?

It's an older expansion, and they didn't update it I guess?
