Hi, I'm relative beginner at all of this so apologies if I use the wrong terms etc. I'm having trouble trying to work out how I can record audio from an external synth (or even just hear it) as I control it with the pads via midi.
I've got midi going out from midi A into my minilogue which I have connected for audio in. Now I'm able to get sound from the minilogue when I go to an audio track and set it up and play its keys normally, and I'm able to set up a midi track so that I can see the pads are triggering the minilogue, the issue is I have no idea how to hear the audio at the same time. If I then switch back to the audio track, sound from minilogue is coming in fine but I can no longer control it via midi.
Hope this makes sense. I feel like I'm just about there with it but there's probably one small thing I'm overlooking and no amount of trawling through specific YouTube tutorials is helping.
Thanks,
K
