How to cut a selected range in a sample. Mpc One

Hi guys.

So in daws you have the option to edit a sample, select a range and cut that part out of the sample.
I was able to "silence" a range.
But not how to cut it.
I did find a discard or delete option.
But they are both greyed out in trim and chop mode.
Cant really find a solution using google.
Which is why i went here.

If you prefer to trim your sample from program edit mode, an easy way I've found is to set the start and end points, then flatten the pad. (Down arrow key at the top of the screen)
