Trigger record via midi

Hey Guys,

Is it possible to trigger Record/Overdub and end the same via Midi on MPC one?

I looked Inside the midi-learn function but could not find a control "source" for that.

Yes. But it be more helpful to know what will trigger the MPC's REC/OVRDB button?

My goal is to use the Loop function hands free with my guitar in my hands.

I am trying to use a sustain pedal which is connected to the MPK Mini 3, which is then connected to the MPC one via midi. I know which channel and control Signal is being used, and it's even not a problem to map an effect to the paddle via MIDI learn.

But how can i map the record Button/function to the Pedal?
