Record automation from LFO Modulation screen?

On a keygroup program, I was hoping to record the changes I was making on the LFO modulation screen (in this particular case I was gradually increasing the filter destination parameter).

I turned on the global automation record and did my thing whilst the sequence played out, but it didn't record it.

I can't find much about this, so guessing that's just the way it is?

Or is there a good workaround to record that action? Thanks!

I succeed to make it :

Put the destination(s) you want to automate on one (or several) Q links, you can use SCREEN MODE ... I can' remeber if it worked using "overdub" or "global automation" or both .... But at the end I had automations lane for my single keygroup program on any parameter of LFO page

Thanks for the help, will try the Q link assign option and see if that works.

I didn't think you needed to 'overdub' if you were using the 'global automation' button, but that might be worth a try as well.

I finally got round to trying this last night and it doesn't seem possible to map a Q link to the filter destination parameter I could map the Wave / Rate / Sync, but none of the destinations. Am I missing something? If you could explain exactly how you did it, I'd be very thankful!

Have been playing round with this a bit more, and I can do the automation on a single pad in a drum program, but doesn't seem possible when in a keygroup.

So I guess I'll need to bounce the keygroup sequence to sample, save it to a pad, and then do the automation from there. Bit annoying, but it's a workaround at least!
