I wonder if anyone has any advice or suggestions. I have two devices; a Line 6 Helix and an MPC One. It's early days, but ideally I'd like to use the Helix to trigger programs and patterns in the MPC, connecting both with standard MIDI 5-pin. I haven't started playing around yet, but I assume this will be possible. I'm also wondering if I can link patch changes on the Helix to project changes on the MPC.
The other big question is how to generate a click from all this kit that I can send to our drummer. He's using a Roland SPD-S to trigger samples, and I'm wondering if that can also be brought in to our little MIDI party. However, I can't find an obvious way of creating a clock-linked click that he can hear over headphones while all three devices are synched together. All thoughts welcome!
