MPC One Retro Benefits?

I’m a noob looking to buy my first MPC One. The MPC One Retro is $100 more than the standard edition. Any additional benefits other than the look? Does the standard addition come with the same sound library and plug-in instruments as the retro?

Correct and if you are bothered by the boring black you can pick up skins from a Russian seller on eBay for like 30 bucks..

I think it also comes standard with os 2.9 (so it includes drumsynth). But thats about it.

You're welcome man, pretty nice quality for the price and it definitely improves readability in low light which is a plus for old fellas like me..

Dammit. I got sucked into playing with the skin thing at StyleFlip.com after reading this thread and just bought a grey colored skin with teal text hah.

Yes, his name is Pavel and it appears that he does amazing work. I am going to order one for my 2000XL.

I will bet the retro as well as the rest will increase even more in price before the year ends due to chip shortages. So whichever you want to get go for it now. Rest easy later feeling like you got a deal.

I got a smoking good deal on a Prophet 10r4 right before they raised the prices up even more so the initial butt hurt pain went away a lot quicker when I saw what they’re going for now.

Yeah that's true enough, I picked up my MPC one for 420 GBP used, boxed with the screen protector still on it, now that was a deal.. my new knobs turned up today, pics later..
