Hello Forum.

Probably you already saw this question but this is something that drives me crazy and i searched everywhere about it and nothing worked for me
I own an mpc x and after some time working with it i decided to work my samples with the Loop mode. So to test this out i used a bass sample.
I tried every single loop mode (backward, ping pong etc). The thing is that i get that annoying click sound every time it reaches the start/end points. I have zero crossing *ON, i zoom all the way in to check if its fine and it looks good. However i still get that clicky sound.
How is this possible to be fixed? Is there something i am missing? Is there something like fade in/out for the loop section?

Thanks in advance!
Have a blessed day!

There is a cross-fade loop option (see hardware manual p. 171 „Trim Mode“ and following) in the bottom right corner.

Often even when using zero crossings and checking that both phases are OK, there‘s still a phase distortion, meaning your sample‘s waveform has a hard knee somewhere, in your example between loop points. These click.

Thank you for your reply!

I took a look in the user guide again to see if im missing something and i found out how x-fade can be used.
I'll give it a try and i'll come back with the results.

Thanks in advance!
