MPC X: More buttons = less touchscreen use?

As with the MPC One, you don't have to be on the touch screen as much as you do, like with the Live I or II, because of all the dedicated buttons the MPC One has. Is it the same way for the MPC X? I really like the X, but I don't want to always have to use the touch screen. Can someone share their experiences with me. Thank you kindly.

You can compare photos of the two yourself and see what buttons are missing/included on the MPC X versus the MPC One... just say'n. Where the MPC X shines is the fact that it comes with 16 QLINKS with OLED displays, giving you instant access to a lot of editing parameters. But MPC One does have a few more buttons on it, ironically. But it is also missing many that the X has (number pad, directional arrows, and a few others at first glance). I own the MPC Live 2, though, so maybe someone who owns both an X and a One will chime in. But the short answer is: Yes - you can use the MPC X without having to menu dive into the touch screen much.

i'm only using the X touch screen for (re)sizing GRID window(s) as that is very, very, very bad implemented with the controls, esp. with longer (16 bars & plus) sequences
and
for selecting (non)consecutive events in the LIST EDIT
and
for browsing to the folder samples

Going from 4 qlinks on my mpc live to 16 qlink plus on the my X was a big advantage for me. Mixing, zooming, editing programs and waves and it made the qlink page parameter pages much my useful in my workflow. Dedicated buttons and 16 qlinks was worth it for me. Small note on the main page screen layout is great tempo, bars, levels, tracks, loops, and list of others are already laid out so I rarely have to go diving as much.
