Akai increased brightness settings in new firmware updates

This is for the mpc one firmware update (2.8.1 and up) , i tested it several times and Akai did infact increase the brightness setting. Using 2.7.2 I can work for hours with the mpc screen, but with the 2.8.1 or 2.9.1 updates I can only do so for half the time because its just too bright. and i always make sure i have it set to 'night.' Akai didn't put this in the update notes. it definitely affected my workflow negatively. I don't think anyone complained about the 2.7.2 brightness level so idk why Akai made the change

Sorry, not a thing for me. I'm even on the Live II where the battery comes into play, and I don't find the brightness level bad at all. And I've got light blue eyes that are sensitive to light, and usually work in a dim room.

Do you have some sort of light sensitivity stigmatism with your sight that's bothering you?

i definitely have some light sensitivity, but the night mode in 2.7.2 worked for me, so im kinda ticked off they changed it

No need to have two threads for the exact same issue. I've renamed the original topic to make it clear that the MPC One screen brightness seems to have been increased in 2.9.1 and will lock this one.
