Any tutorials on this? I need to know what it does and doesn't do.
I'm a slicer from the REX camp and I know that since the days of Pete Rock, you could "slice" on an MPC, but aside from beat rearrangement, ReCycle Reason and all of the other slicers I used, used it for tempo-sync(like, automatically lay the MIDI for the slices across 1 bar, for a 1 bar loop at your desired tempo in the piano roll).
I do not get the expected results when I try it. I'm not even sure if I've even successfully sliced anything. And comprehensive walkthrough out there?
