USB Class Compliance: For Discussion of Issues & Bugs

Behringer UFX1204 works very good with MPC Live2. All 12 channels streams clearly , no problem to record 8 simoultanious tracks in standalone. No cracks or pops. And all of this with one usb cable. Amazing.

Very good upgrade raising MPC to next level. Now there is no competitor in standalone music producion over the world. Thanks to all people from AKAI , great job.

Has someone tried the elektron analog heat?

Hi guys, i've tried to plug my RME interface which is class compliant & my Mpc x said " this usb device is not supported " ... any advice or RME users ?

It would be easier to help knowing the exact model... class compliance is class compliance, if it doesn't work it means that the interface isn't class compliant.

It says "class compliance mode", I imagine you have to enable it somehow. Class compliance is a protocol, like HTTP or TCP-IP, either the device follows the specification or it doesn't, there is no in-between.

i didn't know that the class compliant mode needed to be switched on on the rme's interfaces ...
done now ... it does work ...

Tried my Native Instruments Komplete Audio 2 last night, it initialises then powers off.
Looks like the MPC One does not have enough power (the Komplete is powered over USB, no DC).
I'll try again with a powered hub tomorrow.

Native instruments audio interfaces aren't class compliant afaik, I had to install a driver on windows to use it..

EDIT.. They're class compliant on Mac's only.. so you'll probably not get it working..
