Hi - any help on this would be great.
I want to run some sounds out of my MPC Live 2 to an external (guitar) effect pedal (Chase Bliss - Warm Vinyl Mk2) and then back into the MPC.
I've seen a couple of people on youtube doing this, and they simply ran a cable from output 3/4 to the input of the effect pedal and then back from the pedal to the input of the MPC & turned on monitoring in the sampler.
Before I dived in and did that - i just wondered do I need to worry about the differing outputs and impedances.
I know the MPC output is at line level, and I guess the effects pedal expects instrument level, and the output from the effect pedal will also be instrument level. The input impedance of the pedal is 1M and the output impedance is less than 1K.
I guess my question is - can i just plug it in and go, or do I need to match the levels and impendances through a reamp box or something?
Also I presume I would just use unbalanced cables?
Thanks in advance for any help
M
