Hi all!

I'm on an MPC Live II. Once I have some chops ready, sometimes I want to further chop some of them, let's say that between chops 1 and 2 I want to create a new slice. The problem is that this new slide will be numbered after the last slide, let's say 21 in this example, and placed on the last pad of my program as well.

Question: is there a way to make a new slice follow the natural order where they're placed in the audio timeline? In this example, the new slide (21) will be numbered 2 and placed on pad number 2 as well.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

no I don't think there's any way you can do this in the chop page, but after converting to a program you can re-order your slices within the program itself. If you convert using actual non destructive 'slices', the SLICE number is displayed in PROGRAM EDIT > SAMPLES, you can just change that manually.
