Summary
MIDI Note-Off messages received from an external MIDI port end notes on all MIDI tracks, regardless of the tracks' input channel settings.
Steps to reproduce (What I did)
Tested on: MPC One, firmware V2.10.0
** MIDI Track 1
- Input Port: MPC
- Input Channel: 1
** MIDI Track 2
- Input Port: MPC
- Input Channel: 2
** Play the following sequence of MIDI events into the MPC's MIDI input:
- (1) : Channel 1, Note-On, C-2, velocity 70
- (2) : Channel 2, Note-On, C-2, velocity 70
- (3) : Channel 2, Note-Off, C-2
- (4) : Channel 1, Note-Off, C-2
Actual result (What happened)
At position (3), BOTH Track 1's and Track 2's note C-2 ended simultaneously.
Expected result (What SHOULD HAVE happened)
At position (3), Track 2's note C-2 ends, and Track 1's note keeps playing.
At position (4), Track 1's note C-2 ends.
It seems that the track's input channel settings do not affect Note-Off messages, which is a bug.
