Pad Color for MIDI and Plugin Programs

Did I miss something with the new 2.10 update regarding pad colors on MIDI and plugin programs? I don’t remember the settings being stuck on “BRIGHT->VELOCITY” at all.

I prefer the classic velocity.

We can’t change them back the way they were?

Never mind. Lampdog and I worked it out.

Care to share the solution? Other people might have the same issue.

Sure!

You can still use the jog wheel to select the settings… We went and did it. You can’t select the colors, but you can select the settings. My pads were set to “BRIGHT-VELOCITY” and all lit up and whatnot… It was just as simple as that. LOL!

Yeah you just have to go back into Pad Colors and change it back. I haven't worked on anything "old" yet but I started a couple new projects since 2.10 and they now default to Dim->Velocity for me. Some of my tracks default to the brown color and some seem to want to turn blue. I think my drum programs are brown, and my key groups are blue, cant remember right now. I just go back in and change it back to 'Classic'. Looks like Ill have to make a new default project template heh.

Keygroups made in previous firmwares are remembering custom colours fine for me. I normally use Fixed, 'all pads', 'empty pads off'.

Yeah. I did that last night. I’m glad I was able to revert back because I’m trying to sync my S2400 to my MPC Live and the pads wasn’t lighting up the classic way.
