Couple of noob questions??

Firstly when I stop playback the track stops at that position. How can I reset it to the beginning of the bar?

And 2? When I hook my midi synths up and press the pads I get like a note repeat effect on all synths?
How can I make the pads sustain while I hold the pad?

I’m sure these are both really easy fixes but I’ve fiddled and fartsrsed around for long enough?

Thirdly can someone tell me where the search option is on this site? I do wear glasses but I’m definitely not seeing the search engine where I’m gazing?

Press shift+Stop button to reset the position. Or just press the Play Start button.

As noted by Elijah, you probably want to press PLAY START, which will start playing from 1.1.1. Is this what you're looking to do, or are you trying to do something else?

Sounds like you have a midi loop. You probably need to either unhook midi out from your synth, or disable soft thru on your midi synth.

If you can describe how you'd like to use the MPC and the Synth we can give you a better explanation of what you need to do.

I am assuming you're on PC, the mobile version of the site is laid out a bit differently... There is a magnifying glass icon to the left of the menu "Account", or between "New Posts" and "Forums" there is a "Search" that has a dropdown.

I’m picking up a Arturia Keystep tomorrow so I’ll plug it in to the mpc and see if this changes the midi behaviours before I go into depth about what I’m trying to achieve. I feel I’ll be better prepped to ask more precise questions regarding the issues I’m having?
So for now illl just chill till the controller is linked into the setup.

Ok so I’ve done a fair amount of work in the studio the last couple of days. I was able to spot a midi loop which I rectified. Now my external synth plays as it should on the pads but a new dilemma has risen forth in the form of a stubborn keystep!!! I have a midi cable running from the keystep to the mpc but it will not play any sounds. In either a or b or 1 or 2 (can’t remember which is out but you get the point?) I can see activity on the screen looks like tiny dot on touch then again for (I assume) after touch?
Buggered if I know how to fix this?
I could of course run the midi cable directly into my synth that would work but I have multiple synths and thought there would be a way to just assign the keystep to the required synth at given times? All inside the mpc? If this can’t be done that’s a bit daft if you ask me?

Other than the nuances I’m progressing into mpc world nicely. If I’d known they were so straight forward I wyhave bought one 20 years ago but I guess back then they were actually a tad more complex?

Oh anyone know if I can plug my focusrite 18i20 into the mpc via USB?
I don’t understand the other threads referring to class compliance? Are the interfaces able to directly be plugged into the mpc?

I'd love this feature as well. You can hit Play Start to restart the entire sequence, but I wish there was a way to step back just a bar. The +/- buttons would be more useful if they could be reprogrammed.
