Unable to Record or Over Dub

for some strange reason, I am unable to record anything. I've tried restarting my mpc. I tried opening an old project and I am having the same issue. Im baffled on this one. Any ideas as to why I can no longer record?

Did you arm the track you‘re recording on?

Since 2.10 it is saved which tracks are armed. And since it wasn‘t stored before, no tracks (from old projects or even your template that‘s opened while starting) are armed at all.
