Connect midi keyboard to pc and mpc x simultaneously?

Just wondering if it's possible to have my keystep connected to both my pc and mpc x simultaneously so I can jump between controlling the hardware and ableton without unplugging the usb and plugging it in somewhere else each time

plug the keystep to your PC via usb and use a midi cable for the mpc

or juse a switchable USB Hub, like this one:

this way i can have 4 different USB Midi devices either connected to MPC or PC with the push of a button.

Or toggle "controller mode" and you can use your mpc and its midi slaves in the pc.
