Does Akai support normally respond to all requests? I sent a request via the akaipro.com/support web page about the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen audio dropouts/gaps three days ago, and the web page said "Thank you for contacting us! This message confirms that we have received your inquiry." But then nothing, not even a confirmation mail.

I've submitted 3-4 tickets the last year or so that I never heard back from.

2-3 of those issues were addressed in updates at some point later, for what that's worth.

i've sent many tickets also in the past years (technical issues, gui problems, simple feedback, software request, bfd drums on akai pro) ... i never got a single reply ... i love my mpc x but the Akai HQ is absolute rubbish ... it feels like they take the money & don't give a shyt about their customers ... it doesn't bother me much as we sort us out on the net but dammmm ... 1.5K on the X & there's no one to help ... hmmm ... thank you MPC Forum to be there :worthy: ...

Ok, so there is no support, but there's a 3rd party discussion forum where you can talk about there being no support. Maybe I should have asked, has anybody ever got a response from Akai.

Now it makes sense why there was no automated reply, and I wasn't shown a request number. Maybe that was because a request number was not allocated to begin with?

Have you tried calling them? Based on the comments I've seen here, phone seems to be the only way to get support ATM. Last time I used Akai email support was 10 years ago to report a couple of MPC5000 bugs and I got a response within a few hours ('thanks we'll forward it to the developers'). Those bugs never got fixed though :)

But at least the developers were aware of it :D
