Easy Crew,

In desperate need of some help on setting up my equipment to start experimenting with live performances. I'm tearing my hair out at getting things set up and working.

Equipment: MPC One, Audient ID44 Interface, Moog Minitaur, Moog Sub Phatty, Korg Minilogue XD, Analog Heat, Ableton Live, and an Akai MidiMix on the way.

I essentially just want Ableton for live FX, muting with the midimix, and to record each individual instrument. The problem I have is a want to record each MPC program separate and not as a stereo file and also I've run out of space on my interface due to my synths.

All my synths are going via USB to a Dock and into the MPC as I love using the arps and sequencer. I've tried loading the MPC as a VST in Ableton which allows me to set individual outs of programs and pads, but if I do this method then the only midi port that the MPC let's me choose is DAW, but then ableton receives no midi signals?

I then found a video of someone using virtual ports for the MPC to control ableton midi vsts. I replicated the method but the MPC software is using the midi driver for my synths and so it shows in Ableton but no midi is being sent out.

If you're able to provide any input I'll love you forever.

My next try is using the midimix to control the MPC in standalone with my interface now they can be used with the latest update but I just hate the MPC software for recording audio. MIDI it's amazing but personally I find it cumbersome and confusing as I cannot see all the stems recording at once.

Many thanks
Ant
