Line out vs headphone out - has someone compared the sound?

I need to buy a cable to hook my MPC One up to my home cinema for quick playback on my non-studio speakers, sometimes just for fun (e.g. playing a song to a friend) and other times just to hear how the mix sounds on less than ideal studio monitors, as I've found that it's hard to mix the bass with just my small Genelec monitors and headphones.

I understand that in theory, the line outputs on the back will produce the best sound quality, but I know that the headphone output works well too (just tried it). I'm curious if anyone has done any critical comparison between the two, specifically on the MPC One headphone out? Is there any noticeable difference in audio quality? If the difference is negligible, the 3.5mm headphone output would be more versatile for me because I could then use the same cable to connect other stuff like my phone, my laptop, etc in a pinch, if I wanted to play audio from it. I'm choosing between an RCA->6.3mm pair, or an RCA->3.5mm stereo cable. The RCA->6.3mm choice would be more limited in its use and would only be used for the MPC One use case here.
