Next sequence mode pad color

Hi all - is it possible to change the pad colors in Next Sequence mode? I play the MPC as part of a live setup in a band and its annoying to look at the screen and then at the corresponding pad when I want to change.

Ideally I'd like: all empty sequences to not be lit yellow.
Bonus ability: if I could custom color code sequences for different song sections.

I agree that this would be a great feature! Sadly, the long list of feature requests have mostly gone unanswered over the past 4 years.

This seems simple but powerful . . .
