I had to roll back to 2.9 because of bugs. I see they're already up to minor version updates like 2.10.12 or something, but i've been looking online for any changelogs which would explain what's fixed in these updates. Is there any good way to know if a certain critical bug or other is fixed yet, other than just updating and trying it again?

If there's any bug you noticed in the first 2.10 update which is gone now, I'd love to hear about it! (And the devs deserve some love and recognition for the wins, right? :-D )

I'm not aware of any updates to 2.10 yet, the full firmware version number for 2.10 is actually 2.10.0.82 (MENU > PREFERENCES > INFO > SHIFT > VERSION INFO).

They do sometimes sneak out an MPC Software update without any announcements, and in fact have put out 2.10.0.83 to fix a bug in the Network MIDI driver on Macs. (windows is still on 2.10.0.82).

But when a new firmware update is released they'll eventually put out some release notes, although they are not usually particularly detailed and never list all bugs fixed. So yes, the only way to know if they fixed a bug is to install and check.

I thought the fix on the Mac was something to do with the plugin not working? Network MIDI stuff is completely broken on Big Sur because the Network MIDI app no longer works and talks to the MPC. Apple changed something that broke it altogether during the early Big Sur betas. It worked fine (but had no GUI) for the first couple.. Im still waiting for them to update that so I can use Live Control and sync it remotely with Logic again.

Yes my mistake, it's supposed to fix plugin issues.

Damn I was hoping I was just being slow and totally missed an update haha!
I log in every few days and check my account to see if they snuck an update in without announcing it but nothing yet for that damn app.
