Master Volume Knob disconnected when using Audio Interface

When I am connected to my audio interface the master volume knob no longer does anything. The only way I control the volume of the MPC is to go to channel mixer and adjust the master volume there.

I am not sure if this is a bug or by design. I understand that the master output level on the channel mixer is different than the volume knob controlling the master outs, but if the MPC is going to disconnect the master outs when connected to the audio interface than it should automatically route the main volume knob to the master L/R in the channel mixer.

The interface takes over everything, including the master volume. I find the output when using the tascam model 12 is by default very 'hot', so while you can control this with the channel mixer this is of no use in, for example, sample edit where the volume remains (unbearably) excessive. Hopefully this will be addressed in some way in the next update.

100% agreed, I have to greatly reduce the volume output of the MPC when using an audio interface. I mean a lot in comparison to all my other synths otherwise the MPC is overpowering everything else. Wouldn't be a huge deal if the volume knob could decrease output while connected to an audio interface, but kind of a pain to have to go into channel mixer, select master, then lower it.

Sometimes I need to make a quick adjustment and this process is a bit slow. My idea of having the volume knob adjust the masters when connected to interface only makes sense really for the Live 2 and X that have volume knobs on the front. If I was using the One or Live 1 and had to reach behind the unit to find the volume knob I would probably just do it from the channel mixer anyways.
