Support and discussion for all of Akai’s modern standalone MPCs including the MPC X / X SE, MPC Live 1, 2 & 3, MPC One / One+, MPC Key 37/61.
How does a MPC X & Live II utilize the user installed drives? Can it be used as the primary system for back and forth project data is it only a secondary place to load samples from?

Its just another storage location, you save whatever you want to it and load whatever you want from it, just like you would the internal factory "drive".
