Oh lol I thought this was what everyone was asking for. :Sigh: I'm strictly stand alone. I use my laptop for zoom meetings. :lol:

Even running under Rosetta, the M1 chips are so fast that speed shouldn't be an issue. Especially since the MPC software seems like it isn't super resource intensive.

I don't use it much though... so maybe I'm wrong.

Dammit, updated the software (no driver update for the OG Live so all good there) and then realized I downloaded the Mac updater for the firmware. Gotta redownload it but there is NOTHING about anything other than support for the new Studio in both the notes and user guide. I don't see why that would need a firmware update on the Live/One/X/Live II but Ill see in a bit (still no mod matrix in the manual hah). Hopefully it speeds up the boot time. This **** takes forever to boot since the 2.10 update heh.

firmware update didnt even work;

"There was a problem with the update file.

Please check the file and try again."

I tried to re-download and its no longer available. Akai is a mess

Its still there (got it open in another tab just to check). Update went ok here. Still boots slow hah, but everything else is good. Got the prefs set back up with my AMT 8 and the UMC1820 and all is good. I did the USB update like always.

Guess the OTA update works now too. If you have wifi turned on it will pull it from Akai directly heh. Im not trusting that yet though.

Is this just for the computer or for the standalone units too? If for the hardware does it add the new touch fx to the hardware?
