Clicks and Pops when auto sampling with Tascam Model 12

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a very weird problem, I have a synth I borrowed from a friend hooked up to my brand new Tascam Model 12 connected to my MPC one.

When I try to autosample the synth i get clicks while sampling that get worse with higher pitched notes, also I can see on the PC return monitor that those clicks come through multiple channels of my model 12.

This seems clearly a bug, does anybody of you have some suggestions on how to solve it?

FYI - Tascam is set at 44.1Khz

If you have looping turned on when you sample, you’re probably just getting bad loop points. Try turning it off. If this corrects it, then if you want looping samples it means that you need to find good loop points.

Clicks and pops using any interface lol. There's an option in the autosampler menu (where you config the set up for the process) where you can choose fade or blend or overlap something along those lines. Nudge them a smidge. I dont find keygroups to be a useful modern implementation.
