Dear all,

I was wandering if you can convert an already existing drum program with non-destructive slices to a new program with new samples. And no, I don't have the original program with the chipping parameters anymore :?

The only reason why I want to do this is quite simple: I want to create new drum kits in Ableton using the individual cropped sample audio files. But by exporting a non-destructive sliced program, you'll only get a .xpm file and the original track.

Would be very helpful if someone has a solution or workaround :worthy:

Thank you very much and best regards!

BTW - I'm using the MPC live 2...

When I am chopping, I find it is important to think what is this specific chop for?
Am I just trying to finish this beat ?
Do I want to add it to the “library folder” on my SD CARD & use it with other beats/projects?
Making this decision before chopping can save you a lot of time later.
Having a good folder/archive system is also key. Nothing is better being than able to quickly find a sample today that you chopped last summer that completes a beat today.

Main options
1] chop slices
2] chop PAD PARAMS
3] chop new samples
