New Square Piano MPC Keygroup from user "Musician Paradise"

Caught this on YouTube the other night - user "Musician Paradise" chronicles his journey making a 4-layer Keygroup for his MPC. There's a download link in the video for it, but I also posted it at the bottom of this thread. Shout out to "Musician Paradise" for the awesome Keygroup!

I gotta' admit, I've done plenty of sampling on my MPC, built some Keygroups myself, and have used Auto-Sampler. Seeing the amount of work he put into this 4-layer group really drives home how much work can go into making a good sounding Keygroup. I have new respect for MPC-Tutor and others who sell commercial Expansions that actually do multiple sample layers. The money being asked for them is absolutely fair!

Excellent video, like a template to make good keygroups.
There should be a standard for note names so Mpc should put them automatically on scale. This way there would be no "an eternity later" ahah.

I have 8 layer electric pianos coming soon Plus have spent considerable time sustain looping all the samples to reduce memory, with programs around 70-80MB each, and 4 layer versions around 40MB each, so no disk streaming required! Mechanical release sounds also included hopefully (using the new 'note off' option), still working out a couple of issues though.

I'll make a tutorial for the technique used to create 8 layer keygroups (although not rocket science, just assign 2 keygroups to each note range).

Might even try a 12 layer acoustic drum kit, I've just finished recording a Gatton kit with over 40 different articulations.

I was just about to ask you how you managed an 8-layer Keygroup - hahaha nice!!! And yes please - do a 12 layer acoustic drum kit! One thing the new-gen MPC/Force is missing is an extremely layered proper acoustic drum kit that has a natural sound to it. Was hoping the new 2.10 firmware would make something like that a bit easier to realize with the new Drum Program effects, etc.
