I have a bass station II synth and would like to power it + send + receive midi with a single USB cable to the MPC.
I'm still on JJ OS2XL MPC1000 at the moment.

If the bass station II is a class compliant midi device then it is entirely possible. The MPC Live/One/X can definitely address class compliant midi devices and I have used USB midi for things like the Teenage Engineering OP-1 and OP-Z.

Bass Station II works as it should over USB with the MPC.
