Hi all,
I apologize if this should be self evident but I've just bought a MPC One and am still very much in learning curve mode.
I have both a Behringer RD-6 and RD-8 that I'm triggering (sequencing) from the MPC One via midi programs and have both drum machines connected to the MPC One via a USB hub. I've been able to map the notes out correctly and have two different midi programs running in a sequence on different tracks.
What's puzzling me is that the RD-8 will only trigger correctly (IE the midi note # for each pad is triggering the correct drum sound) when pad performance is set to notes, where as the RD-6 will only trigger correctly when pad performance is set to off which means I have to switch pad performance mode each time I'm changing tracks to record which I'd rather not have to do.
Is there something that should be obvious to me that I'm missing?
