Import Midi 1 into MPC One?

I can't find this anywhere. When you import a midi format 1 file into the MPC One, does it separate out all of the channels into sparate midi tracks or does it put it all in one midi track?

I would like to use each of the channels from the midi file to play external devices (ie. drum track to drum machine, bass track to synth)

Just load the midi file from the browser and it will create a new sequence from it. and yes, if the original midi file has multiple tracks, it will/should create those tracks in the new sequence. You can then configure each track to trigger whatever program you wish.
