Is it possible to have an incoming midi note transpose some or all midi sequences inside the MPC Live? I mean, transpose with keys while playing, as a live performance tool, not as an edit function on a single pattern?
This is a great way to play sequences live, and great fun with the Keystep Pro (and in a DAW). It's also a brilliant way to build up a song. And it's nice to do with percussive samples too for weird/crude pitch changing effects on those.
In an ideal world there'd be something like the (brilliant and powerful) Master Track on the OP-Z that corrects key etc. But actually just a straight uncomplicated transpose is really useful in a lot of settings.
(I guess I could assign master tune to a q-link knob or something but twisting that accurately isn't really like hitting a midi note!)
