I have my Novation Launchkey 25 hooked up to MPC One via USB cable. MPC One appears to detect everything properly. I load up a plugin instrument and procede to record using the Launchkey as keyboard controller for SYNTH plugin track. The timing during playback isn't accurate. Sounds exactly like what I'm playing during recording. During playback the events aren't tight especially when multiple notes are played at the same time. For instance if I play just a straight chord playing all notes at the same time it records the right notes but the timing is OFF on ALL of them. They're close but not acceptable. What Am I missing ? Do I have to set up PPQ or something ? I thought it did all that automatically.

difficult to decide by just reading, but there are two possible reasons:
- the MPCs are not sending constant timing clocks (I mentioned it often here) like many synth do - solution: do not start with the first bar to give the Novation time to synchronize
- use the "Time Correction" with "Time Division" of 1/16 or 1/32 (or less depending on how accurate you play)

...or do both :-)
