How do you use the 249 to control the Live 2? There seems to be no preset for it on the 249 and I cant make the knobs and faders do anything to the Live 2, I was expecting it to be able to control stuff in there, like filter tweaks aso?
Did I just waste over $300 on a controller that doesnt even support its own sister product?
The reason I got those things is that I wanted to have a small piece of hw that has "everything" and the Live 2 is exactly that to me, the touchscreen is adequate for doing proper work and is very straightforward, no deep menu diving necessary.
Then the MPK249 I bought in order to have a set of keys with it and also some extra knobs and faders, so Id have direct access to parameters on the Tube, Hype etc synth on the Live 2 instead of having to navigate between different screens and fiddling with Q-link back and forth to edit sounds.
On top of that, I really wanted to have some hw that will work as true standalone, meaning not having to have it hooked up to a computer.
