Roland SE-02 connection over USB

I am trying to use the SE-02 but am having a couple of issues. I have an external midi controller keyboard into the MPC via USB, I can use this to play midi both into the MPC synths and also into the SE-02, My issue is that to use the midi keyboard to control the SE-02 I can't record the audio into the MPC, to do so I need to be on an audio track for the SE-02 and when I do this I can no longer control it using the the keyboard. So I am in an either or situation where I can either play the SE-02 via keyboard or not cotrol it and record audio. I am sure I am doing something wrong but can't figure it out. Any help?

I tried to get audio to play over USB from the SE-02 into MPC but was unable to, I was only able to via audio cables. I am hoping there is a way for the MPC to receive audio via USB also but no joy so far.
