Akp to xpm converter?

What is the best way to convert the old .akp files to the mpc .xpm file. Reason I’m asking is the loading of akp files is very buggy and can cause an instant crash . Never been able to pin down the reason.
I know if you save the project that has loaded akp files in it , the project saves them as xpm .
Is there a better way?

Never experienced that, AKPs load fine for me in 2.10.1. Need a lot of tweaking (levels, envelopes, filters, FX etc), but fine for basic keygroup mapping and set up. Never tried in standalone, but works every time in the MPC Software.
