Controller Mode to Standalone

I need some help please. I've tried using MPC One in control mode while making beats. While the sequence is playing the MPC One will switch from controller mode to standalone. This is becoming frustrating because I have to keep shutting the software down to restart. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it. TIA...

So you mean that while working in controller mode suddenly it reboots itself and after that it's in standalone?
Can you get a video of it and link it here? It sounds super weird.

Sounds like a bad USB cable to me. If it’s intermittently dropping connection.

It was actually going to "looking for computer" not standalone. What I ended up doing was re-installing the driver and updating the firmware. So far no problems today(knocks on wood). Thanks

Ok, if it goes to looking for computer it's a completely different thing - either bad USB cable or something with at least one of USB ports involved.
