MPC ONE SONG MODE.

Thanks for accepting me to the forum.

Im a solo artist that sings. I want to create tracks in the Mpc and sing over the finished song. So like a backing track.

How many complete songs can you have in the MPC's song mode. Most people seem to talk of one and then export it. I want a set so one song after the other. I cant find anywhere that says this is possible.

They dont have to start one after the other, but as long as they are in a list. Say song 1, 2,3,4 and easily acessible then that would be great.

You can have 128 songs in a single project. Just double tap the current song name in song mode and select a different 'unused' song. However all the songs must be built from the resources within your current project - i.e. the samples, sequences, instruments, kits etc, basically whatever you can cram into the available ram. It is unlikely that you will be able to fit an entire 'set' into a single project, so you might need to use multiple projects for a single set. In which case you might need to allow for a pause while you load the next project (e.g. which you could fill with something like a drone or soundscape off another sampler or synth).

That sounds great, I'm using a Digitakt at the momment and Synths. Theres alot of pausing. So should be fine. Thanks
